Learn to Meditate

Why learn Meditation?

People learn Meditation for a variety of reasons. For many it is in the hope of stilling the chattering of the mind and finding inner peace. For some it is a desire to go inward and discover who they truly are; and for others it is in the search for peace and happiness.

We live in very stressful times with our minds full of uncontrolled mental chatter. As we learn how to quiet the mind we find it becomes easier to control our emotions. A quiet mind brings improved levels of contentment, concentration, creativity and communication. As these qualities develop we discover increasing levels of well being and significantly better relationships with others.

"Mary has been an absolute God send at a particularly difficult time for me personally. In particular, the Beginners' course in Meditation was fantastic and gave me the tools to deal with everyday stresses. As an events organiser this has been very useful!" (Claire Stokes, Business Link)

Learning to Meditate is a real gift you can give yourself. It is probably best to find a class and learn in a group, but you can also learn by yourself. There are many different classes, books and CDs.

There are also CDs and MP3 downloads available to help you
